Our introduction to Practice Management Course covers all of the key areas that need to be addressed when managing a busy and successful practice.

Training Objective

To provide information and support in order for newly appointed practice managers to understand the key areas which need to be addressed when managing a busy and successful practice.  These will include:-

  • Human resources
  • Finance
  • Business planning and processes
  • Maximising use of IT
  • Change management and evaluation
  • Health and safety
  • Clinical commissioning
  • Networking

Who should attend?

The introduction to practice management course is appealing to a wide range of practice managers with differing levels of experience and knowledge. Whether you are recently appointed practice manager who is new to the NHS, a current practice manager with little formal training or you are a practice manager returning to general practice after a long period of absence, all aspects of the course will update, refresh and further your knowledge of practice management.

How long is the workshop?

This is a full day course, timings as follows:

Arrival time 8.30 a.m.
Start time 9.00 a.m.
Coffee 10.30 a.m.
Lunch 12.30 p.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Tea 3.00 p.m.
Finish 5.00 p.m.

How much will it cost?

If you think you would like to go ahead, or are just not sure, telephone our administration team, or fill in this form and a consultant will contact you by telephone.

Your initial telephone discussion is free of charge. If you decide, after your discussion, that you would like to go ahead, then the daily rate is £550.00 plus VAT per day, with an additional charge for mileage expenses. (Please note that some more remote locations which necessitate an overnight stay may incur an additional charge.)

In an effort to reduce costs we are able to group delegate workshops together. We can also offer our training facilities at no extra cost.
